About Ecobank Nigeria
With backing from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce and Industry led a private sector initiative that resulted in the establishment of Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI), a public limited liability company, as a bank holding company in 1985. International and state-owned banks dominated West African banking in the early 1980s. Rare were the West African commercial banks run and owned by the continent’s private industry. To close this gap, ETI’s founders founded the company. The Federation of West African Chambers of Commerce spearheaded the initiative to establish a private, regional banking institution in West Africa. Ecopromotions S.A. was incorporated in 1984. Ecopromotions S.A. was incorporated in 1984. The initial investors of the company contributed funds for feasibility studies and marketing campaigns that resulted in the establishment of ETI.

Qualifications
- A University degree preferably in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Numeric Science or its equivalent
- 5 years minimum of programming experience
- Multi-lingual skills will be a plus
Skills & Abilities
- Proven software development expertise in a service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment.
- Skilled in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Extensive knowledge of Kotlin mobile app architecture, React Native, and Angular frameworks.
- A solid grasp of front-end development concepts and the application of responsive web design
- Ability to solve problems cooperatively in cross-functional teams
- Skills for performance optimization and debugging
- Demonstrated experience in the creation and deployment of web applications.
- Effective creation and implementation of cross-platform mobile applications
- Use of React, Kotlin, or Angular best practices to write scalable and effective code.
- Integration with third-party services and RESTful APIs
- Systems for version control (like GitLab)
- Testing and debugging on platforms like iOS, Android, and the Web.
Job Functions
- Delivering software engineers in the Ecobank group training
- Oversee the Group’s commercial, corporate, and consumer banking operations’ deployment of the 3-tier domain.
- Work with the leader of the unit to dismantle organizational silos and improve team communication of vision and strategy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to analyze problems’ underlying causes, evaluate both new and old code, and/or carry out unit tests.
- Create and carry out software applications.
ensuring that all team members and other stakeholders understand the solution, keeping the specifications current, and monitoring adherence to shared programming standards. - Create accurate, thorough, and timely reports and/or documentation.
- Look into complaints regarding software and make the required changes to guarantee the best possible program functioning.
- Encourage and assist creative thinking to enhance procedures.
