Job Roles
- Liable for and in charge of carrying out all supply chain and logistics-related tasks in compliance with BOWDI logistics policies and procedures.
- In compliance with BOWDI logistics standards and procedures, provide technical support to logistics professionals at all field sites.
- Make sure that every purchase is monitored and documented to determine whether goods need to be included in a pre-approved tendering procedure.
- Assure a fair and unrestricted process of competition for every procurement.
- Organise and oversee the management and tracking of all materials, equipment, and supplies in transit, from their receipt, storage, and subsequent distribution.
- This includes identifying and negotiating contracts for safe, well-maintained, and compliant storage and warehousing that complies with health and safety regulations.
- Provide correct filing systems, action logs supported by documentation, and monthly logistics reports turned in to the management team and the head of operations for auditing purposes.
- Participate in the design of the transport plan.
- Help obtain further clearances as well as the flight’s security clearance.
- Confirm the exemption from taxes and customs.
- Assist in arranging general office transportation for staff mobility; take on the role of fleet officer.
Inform the management of any changes to Nigeria’s import/export laws and customs policies.
