Job Description
The logistics manager is responsible for overseeing the team that manages an office or warehouse and for monitoring the logistics activities to enable the project’s operational phase using the MDM-defined resources, protocols, and instruments. Together with the logistics officer, the logistics manager will also provide complete assistance and oversight for logistics operations in other MDM bases. The Field Coordinator will provide more details in close coordination with the Logistics Coordinator, taking into account the goals and action plan.

- Car Transportation Administration
- Asset & Equipment Management
- Stock and warehouse management
- Management of the compound and its amenities (offices, guesthouses, and medical facilities)
- IT and Communication upkeep of the premises, pharmacy, and office
- Management of construction activities
- Observe, assist, and carry out security processes
- Provide reports.
Skills & Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in logistic management or a related certificate program.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in logistics as a professional.
- Understanding of supply chains, stocks, and fleet management.
- Expertise in adhering to procurement processes and interacting with vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Able to operate fast and efficiently under time constraints.
- Skills in negotiation
- Assertiveness, anticipation, flexibility, and adaptation.
- Integrity and respect.
- Able to live and work in a certain security environment.
- Outstanding proficiency with the Word and Excel Windows operating systems.
- While proficiency in national languages like Hausa would be advantageous, proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
