Job Functions
- Assess and provide feedback on discipline engineering work carried out by contractors, subcontractors, and employees to guarantee the work is being done in compliance with corporate standards, regulations, and specifications.
- Oversees and plans the construction of infrastructure, including roads, railroads, bridges, airports, and waterways.
- Displays familiarity with accepted theories, methods, and techniques in a specific field.
- Needs clear rules and minimal guidance to carry out job responsibilities.
- Little supervision is required.
- Independent assessment is often not required for primary work activities.

- Enable and oversee the production of technical work products for discipline engineering.
- Coordination and communication of different concerns affecting the engineering teams of the contractor and the organization that have an impact on the work’s safety, regulatory compliance, and discipline of engineering design.
- Examine and comment on the work that the Contractor and subcontractors have completed to make sure that the job is being completed in compliance with the company’s standards, specifications, and legal requirements.
- Determine and evaluate any deviations from the Contract’s Technical Specifications and applicable regulations; guarantee that these variations will be handled following company policies; and keep a Deviation Control Log.
- Requests for technical information and steward disciplinary engineering queries from the contractor and subcontractors
Skills and Qualifications
- Prior work experience in a position closely linked to
an engineering bachelor’s degree in the relevant field or comparable work experience - Wide and deep understanding of discipline design codes, standards, specifications, and suitable safety requirements
- The ability to adjust to demanding schedules, high workloads, and regular prioritization adjustments
- Knowledgeable about the Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Read, write, and communicate in English with ease, particularly when it comes to business and technical communications.
