What We Need
- Help with data collection, information analysis, and research to enhance project outcomes or decision-making processes.
- Perform literature reviews to compile data on pertinent subjects or research issues and provide an overview of the main conclusions for studies.
- Under supervision, help with experiment setup, material and equipment preparation, and protocol observance.
- Assistance with administrative duties such as planning meetings, filing, and project logistics.
- Prepare documents or presentations that provide an internal or external audience with a summary of the project’s progress, conclusions, and findings.
- Work together on multidisciplinary projects with your teammates, exchange ideas, and bring your insights to problem-solving sessions.
- Utilise mentorship programs, workshops, and training opportunities to advance your knowledge and abilities in scientific research and related fields.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biological, medical, or applied sciences with a first-class or strong second-class upper division from an accredited university.
- Finished NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) program.
- Age no more than 25 by December 1, 2024.
- The preferred candidate for this position should be male.
- Good communication, interpersonal, writing, and public speaking abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and a knack for coming up with original ideas.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint from Microsoft Office.
- Excellent research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work alone and cooperatively.
- Discretion and the capacity to handle private information judiciously.
- Detailed, adaptability, and a proactive, upbeat, enthusiastic, and can-do attitude.
- Proven skills and passion for technical science.
- Lives in Abuja or is prepared to move for this position.
