Job Position: Expense & Invoices Accountant

Job Location: Abuja’s Central Area (FCT)

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

– Gather daily data on sales proceeds and cash transactions from different sales locations, and make sure the bank is deposited each day.

– Check for inconsistencies and fix billing problems for clients.

– Encourage customers to pay their bills on time by reminding them to do so and reaching out to them.

– Make sure that all payments are correctly documented and accounted for by reconciling the accounts receivable ledger.

– Execute routine financial tasks, such as confirming, categorizing, calculating, publishing, and entering data about accounts payable into Excel spreadsheets.

– Posting membership sales into member accounts on the software in charge of upholding the club’s deposit schedule for each and every member.

– Keep track of your outgoing check schedule.

– Create a daily cash flow statement in foreign currencies and Naira.

– Manage and pursue payment for every credit sale.

– Make sure there are enough records on the software and maintain track of all task sheets related to events.

– Oversee floor cashiers at all points of sale and serve as the central cashier.

– Create and manage the organization’s paperwork, records, and cost accounting system.

– Examine expenses and suggest ways to save money.

– Execute and finish internal cost audits.

– For financial records, adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

– Examine the information gathered and keep an accurate record of the outcomes.

Qualifications

Competent and qualified candidates must have a minimum of 6 to 10 years working experience alongside a bachelor’s degree.

Salary

N150,000 to N200,000
