About Job
– Joining our cross-functional data team as a Data Engineer will allow you to help the design, development, and testing of scalable, high-performance, multi-event data solutions.
– Working with unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data will be your task.
– You will be essential to bolstering our analytical footprint in the chat commerce industry.
Our Goal
– For downstream applications to consume data in support of advanced analytics, AI/ML products, and system interoperability, design and create scalable and reliable pipelines.
– Find ways to make the current ETL processes better in order to increase the correctness and integrity of the data.
– Participate in a scrum-based team that is committed to fostering an organizational data culture.
– Provide a high level of accuracy, consistency, and data availability for our live systems.
– Take an active role in the modeling and solution design process to guarantee that data products are created in compliance with standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
– Collaborate closely with database administrators, BI engineers, and data architects to rethink our reusability and data pipeline strategies.
– Observe established protocols to safeguard Clickatell’s data, intellectual property, and corporate data systems.
Role Requirement
A National Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or Informatics, or a Bachelor of Technology degree.
Work Experience
– 3 or more years’ experience in production data engineering.
– 2 or more years of experience in cloud computing settings.
– It would be helpful to have experience with mobile technology platforms, systems integration, or high-volume payment transaction environments. You should also be able to show that you have a consistent history of meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work that adheres to company or product criteria.
– It will be beneficial to have experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
– Experience with business intelligence and high transactional development environments will be helpful.
– It will be helpful to have prior experience with data transformation technologies like Talend.
– Understanding and Proficiency
– Outstanding practical experience interacting with NoSQL and SQL data sets.
– Familiarity with streaming architecture for data.
– Working familiarity with CI/CD and other DevOps concepts.
– Self-controlled, enthusiastic, and—above all—a passion for lifelong learning.
– You are someone who will be willing to help colleagues and who is passionate about doing so, which will contribute to our coaching culture.
– It would be beneficial to have formal training in data architecture, design, or business intelligence.
