About Job
– The Finance Controller will oversee the company’s accounting operations, which will include creating regular financial reports, keeping up a sufficient system of accounting records, and implementing a thorough set of risk-reduction controls and budgets.
– In addition, this position guarantees that the financial results of the business are accurate and that they adhere to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) or generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Major Responsibilities
Financial Management
– Oversee the company’s financial activities.
– Keep thorough and accurate financial records.
– Accurate and timely financial statements should be properly prepared and presented.
– Make sure that internal accounting and financial policies and procedures are followed.
Financial Updating
– Oversee the creation of the business’s budget.
– Inform management of any deviations from the planned budget and the reasons behind them.
– When necessary, provide financial evaluations, especially for capital projects, price choices, and contract negotiations.
Internal oversight
– To preserve and bolster internal controls, create and record accounting policies and corporate procedures.
– Verify the completeness and accuracy of all financial information.
– Organize the information that is sent to the external auditors for the yearly audit.
Forecasting and Budgeting
– Take the lead in predicting and budgeting.
– Create financial estimates and models to aid in business planning.
– Prepare financial statements and reports by analyzing financial data.
Regulation Adherence
– Make sure that tax returns and reporting requirements are filed in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
– Stay informed about modifications to laws and regulations pertaining to finance.
Team Leadership
– Oversee and guide the accounting staff.
– Help in the hiring and onboarding of new finance employees.
– Evaluate employees’ work and provide team members with comments.
Tactical Organization
– Take part in the process of creating the company’s strategic strategies.
– Contribute financially and offer guidance on the company’s strategic choices.
Qualifications
– ICAN
– Verified experience working as an accounting supervisor, financial controller, or in a comparable position.
– Extensive familiarity with accounting methods and principles.
– Proficiency in the preparation of financial statements.
– Familiarity with month-end and year-end closing procedures and general ledger operations.
– Exceptional management and usage abilities using accounting software.
– Strong ability to analyze and solve problems.
– Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
– Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
